Twelfth night.
By Delaney harmonay.
Twelfth night has been pretty good so far. The story line is very different and the characters are easy to relate to. Although I like this book so far I have some likes and dislikes for it. I like how it can happen in modern life as well as 400 years ago. It isn’t a story that was only in its time. Its something most teenagers can relate to because usually there “love” lives are this complicated. I don’t like the way it written. Shakespearean language is too hard to comprehend on my own. It needs to be explained to me so that I can understand. I feel like I can get lost really easily if I don’t pay attention.
I can relate to Olivia because she likes a guy but it will never happen between them. I have a friend I like and it would be awkward to have a relationship with him. We wouldn’t want to ruin our amazing friendship. Olivia is the same way. She likes a Cersario who is really Viola. Olivia is straight, but she isn’t aware she is in love with a woman.
I think that they are all in love with the wrong person. But fate will bring the lovers together. They all will end up with the right person even if it wasn’t the person they loved first. I think viola will end up with the Duke and Olivia will be with Sebastian. Since I saw they movie, I think I’m pretty accurate.
